Spent a week in Shanghai and Hangzhou. Got scammed, drugged, not robbed. Escaped the hostel after the kitchen caught fire. Met a few fellow travellers. Heard some inspiring stories. Met a bunch of Chinese wanting to sell art.

Got sick wandering around the polished super-modern city. Got rewarded by wandering around the side-streets and alleys.

I liked the rather careless, laid-back mentality. I liked the architecture, traditional, colonial, modern.
